Lennar responds quickly to any issues, however their resolution process is poor. These are not high quality homes, however they are priced appropriately for the product quality.

The home is above average in construction but there are a number of things that need to be fixed. The construction appears to have been rushed and a number of items still need to be done even though it has been a few months since closing. Trees that were promised to be replaced by the agent haven't been replaced. We were told it was too hot to replace them this past summer, but no effort has been made to replace them since summer. The sales process was painful. I lived out of town and responses were poor. There was no flexibility during purchasing phase. The construction manager “Henry” was phenomenal and provided answers where he could. They did make the home buying process very easy. It seems as if they push and push to get you approved, then drag their feet. Other than that, overall experience was not bad.

When a person purchases a new house, you would expect the work to be of better quality. These contractors are supposed to be professionals and do better jobs than myself. We shouldn't have to have painters come back, sidewalks fixed, plumbing fixed, fixtures replaced, garage siding repaired all within the first 2 months. The CM was awesome! He was very willing to get people back in and make the repairs. We passed our 60 day mark, so no more CM helping us. The current customer care rep has been good so far and brought contractors back to make repairs. With the price one pays, I would expect better quality of work. Over all I’m satisfied with my new home. I knew going in what to expect. Lower end fixtures and appliances, drywall work definitely not the best but about what I expected from a track home. Make sure as a new buyer you are present for the final walkthrough and customer orientation. Purchasing our home from out of town meant we missed both and were behind the eight ball from the start. I really like the house I bought from Lennar. Location is top notch. Finishing material is also very good. My experience with the sales team was also very good. Some finishing work is poor. Responsiveness is also poor. I have place a complain on a couple of electrical issues and never got anyone coming to fix them (or even to see what were my issues). Disappointed in a few areas that you shouldn’t have to deal with in a new home. Still working to get many things fixed. Overall we love the home just not to thrilled about some of the issues we still have to fix on a brand new home.

I absolutely love my home and have enjoyed working with Chad Aycock and John Faircloth. Matt from customer care has been helpful too. My main issue has been with my property. The yard was poorly graded and the yards are not 100% sodded. This is causing erosion on the back part of my property. The poor drainage was causing a lot of standing water on my property and it took a few months for it to be fixed. The issue has been addressed and a French drain was put in. It looked great at first but the dirt is starting to settle and you sink down into the ground where they dug the trench... the ground was not properly packed to avoid holes. It also took the landscapers 3-4 trips to complete the job. They kept coming out because it was not done properly. Overall the house is great. I love the neighborhood. I wish the whole property was sodded because I think moving forward sod is being provided on all of the properties. ... More

They will build you a nice house, just make sure you get everything in writing and even then be prepared to either wait or have to go back and forth about it. They don't always do what they say they will do. I would avoid closing on a house in the winter as all the spring things they say they will comeback and do have not happened. And finally, I would suggest you just get the full sod package because if you don't you will regret what they do instead. ... More

While the home is great and really happy with it. Many things were not considered. The quality of materials used is pretty low for the $$ of the home. Also when the shower was extended, there clearly wasn’t much though put into how people use it. There should of been an extended master double vanity of there and a slightly smaller walk in shower. Also tile looks unfinished without it going to top of half wall and to the shower head. Also there is no closet space for linens and towels which is odd in this size home to not have a single closet for linens. ... More

Painless/hassle free buying experience. However the quality of the house is not as good as the old days. Maybe because all of the housing boom is making the builder sloppy since they're building too fast (lack of quality control)?

We're very happy with the house - our realtor thought they did a pretty good job cleaning it up before we moved in. The concern is more with the outside. The grass is a problem. The builder never picked up their workers cigarettes, and garbage, our entire yard is filled with rocks that were never removed, and the front is filled with rocks that Lennar's snow removal service piled into my front yard. It seems like the sales people said things just to sell the house such as the property behind the house would be landscaped, the plants that they planted would be maintained by their landscape service, drainage for the standing water issues in the street and yards, etc. I'm not sure how much of it was fabricated vs. Lennar changing what they wanted to do after all the houses were sold. It has now been left up to the homeowners to fight for these things to be completed. No one wants to be calling the township, soil commision, etc. constantly for intervention, but it's clear Lennar is not going to finish the job of their own accord. ... More

From the naked eye the home is gorgeous, once living here for almost a month I see tons of missed details that I can tell they sped up through in the finishing process. Holes in the closest walls where they were supposed to go over and paint, paint on the rear door because they were not being considerate with covering the doors, paint on the hardwood due to not being considerate of covering the floors. ... It is a real shame that inside such a good construction and a really nice community, Lennar does not assist as much as they should with some issues you may have with the house. Eventhough most of the items in the (smart home) that they set up are fairly new, the wifi repeater is a 3rd gen when currently they are out with 8th gen. Does not preform as they advertised. Great C/S thru purchase process, try to make sure repairs by move in are complete, on day of getting your key, else be prepared for delays.. Responses are great, actions were lagging.
