Lennar built a good home using great materials. The design and layout are great. But almost six months after closing my punch list remains incomplete. Very frustrating experience.

Communication with buyer falls short after purchase. Slow to react to problems found by buyer. Many issues with clean up after contractors were done--not acceptable to any home buyer. Craftsmanship of home left alot to be desired. Shoddy work. Appliances were not the same ones that were shown in model home. Prior to Closing we were prepared to forfeit our deposit and walk away. It had become clear that Lennar's only interest was closing sales, not Customer Satisfaction. The "Inventory" house we selected, completed months earlier, wasn't actually finished upon closing. The day we took possession, we waited outside in the Arizona heat, while the vent hood above the gas cooktop was delivered and installed. The AC system was not fully functional for months. The natural gas supply line to the furnace had never been installed. The house was delivered with filthy air filters, and a dozen dead shrubs. I think I will come direct to the issue. Tony, who was previous construction mgr, was understanding and able to make myself and wife comfortable with the home given its newly constructed and with followup issues which are understandable. However, Tom who took over wasn't customer focused or neither informative. I need to call him almost 10 times to have the same issue addressed, as each time they would fix it temporarily. And now I am still having issues with my doors and he seems to have his own explanation on how those specific doors should work vs rest of the doors. ... More

The house is built fast and cheap. Workmanship is poor quality. Home advertises as "comes with everything", but it doesnt come with essential items you would expect from a home; such as coach lights, door bell, sliding door bug screen, drawers in any bathrooms and list goes on. Lennar also did not disclose very important information such as; we live next to landfield, and many more information would have made us not move here if we knew. The people were great to work with. The actual house had many problems. Too many to list. Took months to actually have everything working properly! The contractors aren't worried about quality. They try to get everything done asap.

I bought a lennar home in Las Vegas, NV and now in Riverview. The only benefits is all inclusive. Cleanliness, responsiveness to problems, and customer service are almost non existent.

I bought the house in April and have experienced major problems with the home. As soon as I moved in had a problem with my drip system which causes the water to drip 24/7 and my water usage/bill to be high for four months. In addition, my breaker for my fridge constantly went out and caused a flood in my kitchen and food to spoil several times. Now my windows are leaking water in the house because it was not installed correctly. Such a headache and emotional stress with buying the house. The lack of job site supervision and quality control was extremely evident. The quality of workmanship was extremely poor and not up to par for a brand new home.

My husband and I had an awful experience with building and purchasing our home with Lennar. Our final home walk through appointment was cancelled one hour before we were to meet (after we had arranged to be off of work and had child care services lined up). The house at our final walk through was not finished (not cleaned with dead bugs everywhere, missing paint, holes in the walls/ceilings, all the blinds were missing, the seamless shower frame we paid for was not installed etc). We had to rush to close because Lennar forced us and we had to push Lennar for months to get everything fixed/corrected after we moved in. There were many issues to be resolved, not all of which were completed to our satisfaction. The paint and the painters they use are the cheapest possible, there are spots where there is barely any paint. We have had 2 major leaks. No pad and apartment grade carpet which for a house that is over $500k is very sad. They say they put your front and back yards in, ok yes they do but they are put in by people who know nothing about landscape. No soil under the sod, the wrong plants. I love the floor plan for my home but the customer service after I moved into my home has been horrendous!! I've not seen nor heard from the person who walked me through my home since he asked for a five star rating while delivering 1 star service. They've not followed up to get all the items from the original list nor address the ones I've added since the move. The quality of the flooring and cabinets is not worth the money charged! Most of the workmanship and material are decent quality but not to the standards expected at this price point. The most offensive actions is the decision to change the size and value of the homes in the community. This decision has a great impact on my investment and the overall look of the community. We purchased a new build Lennar home. We loved the layout of the house and the community is just what we were looking for. So, put up with the months of construction delays (never being informed properly about the progress) which forced us to live in an AirBnB for two months. We moved into a very dirty and unfinished house, It was not cleaned well after construction and all the issues we have raised beforehand were not addressed . So, our first few weeks / months in our brand new home was spent chasing Lennar. Poor job done by the painters, bickers, gardeners and an overall poor supervision by the construction team of Lennar. We been in discussion daily with the customer care rep. She do stay in communication with us and try to have all the issues corrected. I feel she is just as frustrated as we are. Unfortunately. we have had to spend most of our days off at home waiting for repairs to be done. We are still fighting with Lennar. It is just upsetting that we found a house we really liked and we walk into one problem after another. If I could have a do over, I would look for a different builder.
