We love the layout of the home which is why we picked it. The Workmanship is poor. We have paint runs down the banister, all across the baseboards, the subfloor wasn't installed properly in the bathroom creating tile cracks. Had that fixed and now the grout is cracked. It takes forever for someone to come out and fix anything. The outside cleaning that was supposed to be completed in November had yet to be done and it is currently March. The paint job is horrible! The banister received 1 coat, the wood is showing through, there is building dust painted into the banister. Its horrible. For a brand new house the quality it the worst. Let me start by saying Rich and Aaron are very great and helpful with issues. I appreciate all their help. They are the only good experience I have had with lennar. I am not to happy at this point with everything else. There is a lot of sloppy work done. Carpet and drywall feels very cheap. Floor boards are creeping everywhere. I feel this house was rushed being built. I was rushed to pick my colors and was refused a small changes. When my brick went up I informed salesman I felt that wasn’t the right brick color I choose before moving in. I was told it still needed to be washed and would lighten up and brushed aside. I will I’ll and could it fight at the time. After unnoticed it was still not lighting up I started doing some research. After doing some research month later and fighting I have now found out they put defective brick on my home and still in the process of trying to get this fix. No one listen to my concerns at the beginning. We Really wanted brick paid a lot of money for that brick. Now we have to worry if they replace it will they do it correctly and not do more damage to our home? This is very stressful and frustrating. I am extremely disappointed!!!!!! we are out 5200.00 and have defective brick and still trying to get Then to admit it and get this fixed. Lennar should be giving us a FULL refund and correcting the issue!!!!!!I had a issue with our floor it has been replaced twice and still not correct. I am finding so much I have to keep calling about. The brick and floor is a mess. I still don’t have a full resolution with the brick issue. No one should have to go through this. Beyond stressful . We looked at new home builders for years and went with lennar. Upset We did. At this point I would not send a friend or family member to purchase at lennar. Poor quality workmanship. No pride in work very sloppy. House is not level, flooring poorly laid, poor paint job. Paint splattered all over the tile floor, poor quality concrete. No lighting in home except for bathroom and kitchen.

I am new owner of a Lennar home, but I'm having a hard time enjoying it. Besides (1) issues during the build, (2) a large (and still-growing) list of poor craftsmanship/building issues throughout the house, and (3) horrific customer service and responsiveness, Lennar made two particularly egregious mistakes while rushing to sell me a house by the end of their fiscal year. 1. Lennar sold me a house in the winter without heat on the top floor (bedrooms). The home inspection noticed that the heat pump wasn't operating, but Lennar failed to address the issue and sold the house anyways. 2. It took over two months after settlement to get internet service. This is because Lennar, the developer and builder, sold me a house without ensuring the street infrastructure was in place. In short, I strongly recommend you take your business elsewhere. Lennar will rarely deliver on their promises, and even your basic expectations will not be met. ... More

I was excited to be buying a lennar home but i was disappointed with not being able to choose the elevation of the home. our house was a moonlight skye series and its all white it makes no sense that lennar would do this the house looks unfinished. Also during the walkthrough there were so many things wrong with the house due to the construction team building these houses too fast and sloppy. the sale agents were awesome though very nice and helpful its just the craftsmanship of lennar thats quite horrible and now my family has to live with these flaws for a long time. ... In the 5 short months that I have lived in my home I have had to have several contractors back out to fix things that I feel you should not have to fix in less than 5 months. My hardwood floors have a gab that can easily be seen and collects crumbs and other debris that im told is an acceptable gab but looks horrible. And now I have a second location just not as bad as the first. I have an doorway that meets with the ceramic tile that hurts your feet if you step on it that does not get a transition plate due to the house not being DESIGNED with one. Getting the contractors back out to fix things has been an issue in itself. I have had several not show up even though they were scheduled. I have had contractors say they came out but had not. I have had to play Project Manager and provide update and statuses on the work to be done because there has not been much follow up on the jobs the contractor was assigned to do. I have been asked several times to sign off on work that was not done. To find out the customer service POC had no idea of the status. I spent a lot of money on this house and some areas look like I have lived in this house for years. We built the new “everything’s included” home. Sounded like such a great thing. In order to get and “everything’s included” home, they cheat everywhere they can. Downstairs cabinets have soft close hardware. Get upstairs, not included. Plastic faucet upstairs on an upgraded laundry room. Only one hearing/air vent for the entire kitchen, living room, entryway. Upstairs is so hot and downstairs is freezing. Workmanship is poor. So many thing have had to be fixed already. Carpet is so cheap. We just recently bought a home in Rosena Ranch from a Lennar community. Since we've moved in, we have had to call service quite a few times for issues that should not be happening in a new home. For example, our handrail on the stairs are already having separation from the wall. It is under warranty and will get fixed, but it is very inconvenient especially because the contractors have to schedule so far out. These things should not be happening in a new home.
