Lennar delivered on time and communication was exceptional. The people working for Lennar are great and were very responsive to feedback and requests. The selections of materials are limited which I understand is why they stay on budget and on time but they are not wearing well showing use after less than 6 months. The quality of the cabinets, carpet and hardwood is low. There is little insulation in the house and the house lives very noisy with significant noise transfer from room to room and floor to floor. We love our view and the layout of the house is great but we would hesitate to buy a Lennar home again. We feel we will be replacing finishes and having to make updates to flooring etc sooner than one would think with a brand new home. Their price point works well and the Everything's Included model may work well for other but perhaps not the best for all buyers. ... More

I gave the overall buying experience only 3 stars because the closing date was postponed several times. When the actual date arrived I was nervous about closing because there was still a long punch list of things that were not yet completed/corrected. But I'm glad we went through with the closing. The main Electrical panel board is of poor performance, it should of been SQD like the other homes I am an Electrical Engineer and we stop using EATON for this reason, as I continue to have issues, including the water heater is poor quality

Salesman Excellent! Builder: TERRIBLE!! {garage entry door, garage door, island structure, kitchen sink, granite, baseboards, tub, bathroom sinks, landscaping lawn] We are very unhappy with the kitchen cabinets they have issues with the finish and currently one of the outstanding issues in our home. Robert is assisting with that as well. QA closing: There were many issues that we are still dealing with since closing see finish out issues above. It has been a very stressful period. We never had the feeling of joy of buying a new home when there were so many issues. Finance/mortgage: Very helpful kept us well informed smooth process from start to finish. Customer care rep.: Robert our customer care rep has done an exceptional job thus far in helping to resolve issues identified prior to and after closing. Still assisting with the final few items outstanding . He is a 10+++ if it wasn't for his attentiveness we don't know what we would have done regarding the issues in our home. Overall my review from 0-5 is 3 1/2. the main reason it is not a 5 is due to the finish out/cabinets.QA issues we identified. We would not recommend the gray because you can not touch them up without showing every mark. We would rather have the dark cabinets. No medicine cabinets in each bathroom is very inconvenient and will just need to be added, not good. Interior paint appears watered down or just very cheap. So thin any touch leaves a mark

My review is still incomplete at this time. The quality of the driveway is completely unacceptable and is the reason for my low rating on quality of workmanship. The driveway was poured at 26 degrees on November 13th and I believe that it froze before concrete had cured to achieve a necessary strength. Overall we had a mild fall and there numerous days the concrete could have been poured at a much warmer temperature. It has numerous cracks, chips, pock marks, smears and is very off colored. No other driveway in the neighborhood has an appearance that is even close to my driveway. I currently have a work order submitted for the driveway and am waiting to hear what the next steps are. If the driveway is replaced I would definitely change my rating as the quality for the rest of the house appears to be generally quite good. ... More

I purchased a new construction D. R. Horton property in June 2018. I decided to upgrade to a larger home and purchased a Lennar home in November 2019. The longer I live in the Lennar home I realized D. R. Horton is a better quality builder. The Lennar quality is just not there. The drywall is so thin you can't hang a lightweight picture without reinforcement. The wood flooring has several chips in places my family and I could not have damaged it. For example behind the toilet in the half bath. The ceiling still shows major flaws, corners of walls, not really corners have curves. The lawn is ridiculously rocky and literally have trash under the glass. I believe the yard should have at least been clean before laying sod. Those are the major issue, There are another dozen or so minor issues. I must say these issues are not the fault of the employees I worked with directly, they were absolutely great. ... More

Overall, very pleased with the total purchasing, building, and move-in support processes. We were a little disappointed in the inability to make "minor" changes to the building plan months prior to construction actually starting. Not real pleased with the way the property was final graded. The degree of slope and the drainage between the houses causes standing water/mud. There is no standard pricing on townhomes here as the prices are costlier for first time buyers versus investment home. Costlier prices for normal home than the upgraded homes. We have built two other houses in the past and I will have to say that Lennar has had more issues we have needed repaired then any other home we think perhaps there needs to be better people doing the work to make sure these issues don’t arise or perhaps longer building time. We did also notice that a few houses that were built after us had upgraded stove and ovens which we felt we should of had as well. We do love the layout of our home and our community as well. We love our home, but when you’re promised things and are told you’re under warranty you expect things that weren’t fixed to get done, but they don’t get back to you. That’s not good customer service.

I wish we had our own swimming pool, fitness center and clubhouse considering the price we spent on our home. Other than that, we love the layout, however, it would have been nice to have a fireplace and linen closet.
