Lennar home buying experience was great. Our salesperson, Chris, Construction manager, Kurt, and title team were both very helpful and responsive. They answered all our questions and concerns timely. Lennar makets their homes as "Everything is included" and this can be a little deceiving. We have a smart home and that is great but I would have much rather had all my rooms wired for cable and internet than having an Alexa or Amazon show in my home. Our home only came with the living room and master bedroom wired so we have had to spend extra money out of pocket to have cable and internet installed in our home. And I will say their warranty department has definitely soured my home buying process. Trying to get a warranty issue handled takes months to get addressed and even then you get a run around of them second guessing whether it is covered under warranty or not. Our yard and our neighbors yards are clearing having flooding issues due to grading in our yard and we are still waiting for a resolution. If you say you are going to respond within a day then respond and don't make me chase you down to get an answer on the status of my warranty claim. ... More

As long as your issues are within your 30 days of moving in are taken care of you’ll have no problem. I can’t say 100% but it seems like any work order you put in after your 30 days of moving in “isn’t covered “ grant it my issues were a little unconventional but I really hope I don’t need my warranty because I feel I might have a lot of problems. ... Overall good experience, did get the closing date moved a few times but that is inevitable sometimes. One thing I wish they would’ve actually mentioned is the sod in the backyard is not all the way included, it is in the brochure but there’s so much information on it it get overlooked. The loan officers were very patient, really went out of their way to make as easy as they could, the seller was also great. ... More

We love the smart home and connectivity, and for the most part the materials used to build and finished the home. The kitchen appliance package should be of better quality, we had issues with the stove and dishwasher and had to fight with the manufacturer for service. Also, some of the trim work was not clean and sharp with globs of paint and unfinished spots, not clean and sharp as I was expecting Lennar to finish homes, also, we still have issues with water puddles in different areas, even though it has been repaired twice already. Is as if the person that should have checked the house prior to the final walk-through had not done their job properly. ... More

Selling agent was courteous and responsive. Our final walk through went well and the contractor who assisted us with that was great as well. Since moving in we've had a few issues lennar and Amazon have come out to address. Lennar was quick to come out the first time but we seemed to have been lost in the shuffle and had to call/message the general contractor multiple times to get him to send guys out. Amazon was quick to respond and took good care of us when we had problems with the smart home features. ... More

Buying a home with Lennar was a good experience. Anessa the Lennar rep is what truly made it worthwhile. Other than that I have not had any issues so far except for not enough coats of paint on the wall and having to kill bugs inside the house due to them leaving windows open etc while building the houses. ... The construction guys do a great job at laying the block, setting in the roof and handling most of the structural components. However, the outsourced painters, finishing trimmers, tilers and carpet guys are awful. Expect paint in the carpet and windows (the paint to basically be white chalk which comes off the wall when cleaning), the tiles to be irregular in height and to have missing grout (or just black mastic coming through the light tan grout). I won't even talk about how terrible the sod is installed in the yard. With all that said, these new constructions are great value for the money. Sure, you can't really make any meaningful choices, but you're getting a brand new house for the same or less than 2-3 year old comperables for sale in the area. The sales team is pretty honest and helpful in most things though the mortgage lender is awful - expect to have at least one or two major screw ups not in your favor. Once you're in the home, the guys that helped you in your walkthrough will do everything they can to set things right in the first few months. They're directly involved in setting up labor to fix errors. After that, they move on to new buyers, though you're still able to work with Lennar to fix issues for the first year. ... More

Should have a higher quality in the workmanship however these communities are built fast so this was not a huge surprise. Nail pops throughout the house and cracks in most window frames. I feel that a lot of things are overlooked. Simple things. The quality control of the different parts of the building process is far from good. I know good help is hard to find. There are things I believe you should change. The stainless sink in the kitchen are passé. There are many options besides stainless and porcelain. The tile work seems substandard. I like my house, but I think you need to get into current times. ... More

Overall we are very happy with our home, neighborhood and our neighbors. We did have however about 14 Issues with our home after we moved in. Most were addressed and we now have only one open issue. Our biggest complaint was the continued delay on the completion date. When we signed the P&S we were told the house would be ready in February, it then was March then April then we finally closed in May. We were never told about the delays unless we asked. . So we were there every week to ask. We had sold our home in February and had to rent a condo in town for about 77 days which cost us about $6000 we did not plan on. I feel communication should be improved. ... More

*The sod that surrounds our home is not good quality - more like one would find in a field. *No gutters in rear of house - water comes off the roof like a waterfalls, causing a hole in the lawn and mud and water splashed into the lanai. *All the covers are either missing or broken that covers lawn watering (a request has been submitted some time ago to have this addressed and it still hasn’t been). *A request had been submitted some time ago to provide support to a planted tree in front, and this has never been addressed to date! ... Me and my wife had what felt like a very smooth purchase. They were flexible with us on getting paperwork done. They also had everything setup and the in house lending was great. The only thing I would say is we are starting to notice some issues come up around the house and it's not many at all. Since we are first time home owners we could be digging a little too deep at things but, we are going to bring them up on our first year inspection. The house is beautiful though and the co.munity seems nice and we love our house. ... More
