I have had to have a bunch of stuff fixed or replaced since I moved in. They build these houses at a pretty good clip but a one year warranty should give all homeowners plenty of time to have any issues addressed. But Lennar is very responsive to these issues and they do follow-up in a timely matter. I was very hesitant to buy a new home in a planned community but I’m very happy with my decision we chose the value of the Lennar home over a smaller home with more attention to detail however for the most part we have not been disappointed. Lennar is good builder. But, follow up is very poor. Roads are not done. Street lights are few and poor. The mail center is poor and a big trafgic hazrd. The Lennar home buying experience went well except for one thing. I had an unexpected medical issue and asked for an extension on the closing date. Lennar denied it and it almost cost me the home.

The overall experience was good. We ran into delays but that’s expected. The sales staff was great, the customer care experience post closing has been great. The construction manager was average as he was not as detailed and peculiar as needed (thus resulting in lots of fixes afterwards). The worksmanship of the subcontractors used are average, could be better. we moved in March 2018, so far we haven't had too many issues and when we do have issues they are looked and possibly resolved within 7 - 10 business days. We live on a Greenbelt and a development vacant lot that is supposed to be cleaned up - well the Greenbelt is a weed infested eye-sore the weeds/misc plants are as tall as the iron fence (5-5.5ft) and the vacant lot that is supposed to be grassed with sprinklers is a catch all for the construction workers for concrete, bricks and extra dirt from other areas - large dump trucks come and dump misc stuff and a small back hoe brings bricks, concrete chunks, etc...we have notified the sales office and the HOA office and still get the same answer "we are working on it" "we will keep you posted" -- so far nothing. ... The staff is great. The quality of work by the contractors on the finish work (paint, baseboards, alignments, etc) was not up to par!
