The materials you use are embarrassingly bad. How can you put those super cheap showers in and not offer an upgrade. The whole house needs to be redone. The toilets even clog with just toilet paper because you got the cheapest you can find. The price was always changing using one for the first few homes then just raising it a lot more. My wife and I had possibly the worst experience buying a house through Lennar. Not only did Lennar ruin our first home buying experience, but we are still finding things around our brand new house that constantly need fixes. First off, when we purchased our house, back in March 2019, we purposely bought a house that was not going to be ready until March 2020. Pamela and Derrick had both told us that our house was going to be completed around March 2020, it might even be later. We were completely okay with that. Well, a few months go by and I get a call from Derrick telling us that the house will be completed sooner than expected. I asked when and he said probably January 2020. That was still doable... We weren't thrilled but weren't upset. Then my wife had a meeting with Pamela and our construction manager in September/October 2019 and they told us it's going to be finished November 2019. We said that's not okay, that we are still in a lease with our apartment, weren't financially ready and we had recently found out my wife was pregnant. We told them to push it back to January if possible and Pamela said, "We can't do that because we need to close this house before the end of the year for our numbers." I don't care about Lennar's numbers. I cared about having to pay money to break our apartment lease, not putting as much down on our house because it was sooner than expected, and dealing with the stress of finding out we're going to be new parents. The whole process was TERRIBLE and I've already been telling family and friends about Lennar's customer service. Not only did we go through that, but we are also experiencing issues around the house already. We hear a LOUD knocking whenever anyone takes a shower, our garbage disposal stopped working, our grout wasn't applied correctly in our shower, (A guy came and looked at it and said whoever applied this did a terrible job) our stairs do NOT match our floors in our house, and a window upstairs was not sealed correctly. It's been very very frustrating and I wish I could move out of this house already. ... More

Just terrible new home owner experience. Definitely will not buy Lennar home again. This was my first time buying it and I ignored the reviews that sad bad about Lennar but now I know.

The builders completely missed our change request order, had we not found it ourselves by driving by, it would have not been caught u til too late. This happened twice during the build. From incorrect colors and finishes to horrible, dead landscaping and a completely unresponsive contractor, we loved the process but were left with a home that was not exactly what we picked nor what we envisioned.

Lennar has changed the beginning of recreation building 3 times. The also can't control the contractors who block driveways, blast music all day and toss garbage on lawns daily.

Lennar rushed us to close at the end of the month but the house was not ready. I gave 1 star on craftmanship because we have so many issues. Tiles are not level, trim work is poor, lumps under carpet, upstairs floor uneven, just to name a few issues.

Would not recommend Lennar. While the signs in Tucker, Ga of say No to Lennar are for other reasons, they do explain my sentiment as well.

Lennar’s sales and mortgage departments are amazing but that’s where the experience ends. Once you are in your home you are dead to them. If you need to get anything fixed GOOD LUCK !! It’s jumping hoop to hoop. You become a lot number to them #552. They make it so difficult perhaps so you will get frustrated and fix the issue yourself. I have been around home building my entire life and have never seen a house get built with such lack of care. There were so many things that stood out to show that one the contractor is either way to rushed. Or two they just don’t care. Walls with very little or no paint. Tile that didn’t get grouted in places. Brick work that looked like a little kid did it. List goes on and on. This is just the builder side of things. I absolutely love Lennar. They make beautiful homes. However, Cascata is rushed and the construction shows. The guarded gate we supposedly pay association for is a joke- they allow anyone in at anytime without a call and the poor Lennar employees are overworked and understaffed. It’s taking them a while to get to me. I don’t mine since my issues don’t seem to be as pressing however, after spending way more that half a million on a house, I would hope for better service and craftsmanship. ... More

I have made multiple complaint and reviews on my closing experience.. I have not heard back from anyone who has dealt with my loan process besides my loan officer asking me to rate her 10. I refer my mother, she stared her process before I closed. If I would have known my loan closing would have been handled the way did I would have sent her to another builder ..
