The two areas i find poor is the height of the microwave. It is so high to be unusable. The master shower is beautiful but poor design. It has subway tile on floor which is slick. I almost fell. I love my home. Great floorplan.

The overall experience was far from a positive one. Our front door was hung backwards. SEVERAL doors were not level and wouldn't close correctly / lock. The electrician they selected to do our home was HORRIBLE. He made too many mistakes. SEVERAL light switches were installed in the wrong places. Smoke detectors and light fixtures falling from the walls / ceilings. DOZENS of nail pops on day of move-in, yet we were told to wait for more to pop-up before having them repaired. Roof installed incorrectly. Bath drain not sealed resulted in water leaking through the ceiling. Wrong shower installed and refused to correct it. Outside window frame busted upon move-in. Drywalled over the attic access. Busted cabinets found during move-in. Cracks / holes in walls. There were so many things wrong during our pre-closing walkthrough. It seemed as though they rushed to the finish line and the GC didn't oversee the project well enough. Perhaps too many homes being built all at once? We spent our first three months in our home dealing with "warranty repairs" and still had to do a great deal of work ourselves to fix what was done wrong. We closed on our home on March 27 and still have outstanding ticket items that have not been rectified. When we contact lennar reps it’s a constant blame game. For our home we have atleast 10 outstanding ticket items that have not been fixed on of them from our original punch list before we closed. I would NEVER build with lennar again and would NEVER refer to friends and family due to the headaches you have caused us. ... More

Once you’ve purchased and closed you are dead to Lennar and they move on to the next homebuyer. The sales staff is phenomenal, but past that it goes downhill.

There are too many issues to mention, so I’ll name a few. First we signed in August 2018 for a “quick move in” and was told it should be completed end of October or mid November. Delay after delay. We finally closed February 28, 2019 and there were still some things not finished. There were a lot of careless mistakes, poor paint job, issues with things, paint on floor, bathtub and light fixtures, yard was not leveled as they said it would be - there was a big hill in the backyard that wasn’t there when we signed to buy the house and we asked many times for them to level it and they refused. As a Experienced Homeowner I was Very disappointed with the builder’s team. Outside Financing, if at Possible regardless of the “Builders Incentive”it’s not worth it you will pay in the end. With a large down payment I still have a (PMI)! After you have finalized the purchase of your New Home your concerns will be slow with Repairs & Warranties. Not Timely! The concept of a NextGEN home is awesome, But the Quality of the building materials are Inexpensive and Cheap, (Cabinets). Small bedrooms and garage. Upgrades are sold to you as a packaged. Our experience is anything than positive. What I find the most interesting is I’ve already filled out a review, and it was not positive, and yet I’ve never heard from anybody regarding that.

The process in the application was ok, however, information regarding what was covered and offered, was not clearly explained. The price for HOA dues were incorrectly quoated which caused some descrepiency with the HOA once moved in, HOA stating the price was higher. I have yet to speak to a HOA Rep. with a live voice, I only get e-mails, which some are just a paste and resend copy from a previous onversation. There were issues such as broken blind, structural repairs needed, paint issues, wiring issues, grass spots missing in yard which is still messed up and it has been 5 months. The insulation is weak. You can hear conversations throughout the house from upstairs to downstairs. During the WALK-Thru, we were informed by Construction Rep., all issues be taken care of after the closing, it is quite apparent it was not, and just a, if we get you to sign, our job is done. The house is a beautiful plan, but extremely "POORLY" built in construction. The Money that is spent to to purchase what we thought would be our "Dream Home" has been dampen by the issues, and the process in getting the issues corrected. In "Hind-Sight", I almost regret cancelling my Agreement with Taylor Morrison Homes, the construction and warranty of the home was "Elite". Lennar offered more features, but, is it worth the long-term hassels? I guess you would have to turn the old saying around, "You Don't Get What You Pay For" !! ... More

We closed on our house in September and there is still items from our walkthrough that have not been corrected. Lennar doesn’t care about us as customers AFTER we sign on the dotted line! The workers that they have working for them are horrible and do horrible work! Moving here from Atlanta, we always heard good things about Lennar but from this experience we will never buy a Lennar home again. Sales experience was great. The construction managers have been horrible, do not do what they say they are going to do and have zero follow up, I have over 15 hollow tiles in my house that I’ve been trying to get fixed for almost 6 months. I closed on my house in May of 2019, and I have had issues with the workmanship of the building. The punch list that was submitted isn't even half done and it is now November 21 2019. Be aware of the lack of urgency once you close.

Moved in and within 30 days, I noticed the driveway is cracking (not covered under their warranty, but they are ripping out and repouring the other driveways that haven't been sold.. So maybe you'll be lucky) Central Air was mis-wired and needed a service call to wire correctly, took three weeks to come out. Several electrical breakers continue to pop with any type of wind, other homes owners report the same issue. Already had to replace two of the LED hall/bedroom lights having them burnt out and they are not of a bulb replacement style. When they are burnt you'll need to replace the whole fixture. Several spots of poor finish work on the texture coating. Master Bath tile has an air pocket under it and it pops from time to time, reported before closing and never fixed. Still waiting on my kitchen cabinet door to be replaced from closing inspection still has the green inspection tape on it. Rust spots on the front stoop noticed before closing, so they scim coated the surface... now that coating is coming off in patches...since it's concrete it's most likely also not covered with their warranty. Several sprinklers are leaking from their heads up to an hour after shut off. Other homes have same issues. Water ain't cheap here folks.... ... More

Where to start...cheap cabinets with very poor installation (lots of exposed raw wood, drawers that don't close properly) poorly installed island countertop, cracks in drywall and cement, major ant problem, refrigerator circuit breaker flipped twice in first few months, and what makes it even worse is that Lennar does not follow through on repair requests. The sales agent was great, other than that it is been horrible, material are cheap , craftsmanship is even worst. 5 months after closing the house still dealing with issues that were not addressed before closing Customer service is horrible. Lennar is not responsive after the sale. You will have issues as no house is perfect even custom built houses. But you will have issues getting Lennar to respond to your issues within your year warranty period. If you buy Lennar do not close until your issues are taken care of. ... More

The sales team and the builder were amazing. I have had very terrible experience with customer service. My doorbell stopped working and it took 2 months before I could get it fixed. I have outstanding repair work, and I have had 2 no call no shows and last time a Manager actually stopped by and promised things will be resolved quickly. I have not heard anything. Part of my door was broken before moving in. It is still broken and no one has come to fix it. Overall, the customer service team are unreliable and don't particularly care about the customer. Build manager, customer "care" rep. missed several appointments, didn't contact to reschedule and overall left our new home purchase experience lacking. Didn't expect much and Lennar matched our expectations! Such a shame...
