The initial purchase process was a nightmare. Steer clear of Michael. That being said, quality seems decent. There have been minor quality issues.

Workmanship of the home could have been much better not so impress on how it was put together. Found to many defects backyard could have been leveled much better etc. Eagle Mortage office set me up for failure, informing and was written on my contract that HOA was paid monthly then I get a bill from spectrum stating I had a balance and a late payment fee added to my bill of $40. Spectrum has informed me HOA is paid annually. This could have been avoided if I was given proper instructions. Eaglemortage should be liable for the late fee, since I was not at fault. Response to warranty issues has been very good. However, the month leading up to our closing was absolutely brutal. We had to pressure Lennar to move the closing date back three times. The different divisions (construction, mortgage, title, sales, etc.) did not communicate with the other. The local construction people had no idea of our original closing date and weren't even close to having the house ready. On closing day the title company (Lennar Title) did not have the closing documents from the lender (Lennar) and we never had a final walk-thru or orientation prior to closing. ... More

Make sure you ask what color your house is going to be. Didn't know I needed to ask what the color of my house was going to be painted, my bad for assuming they painted houses in neutral colors, which are more versatile. I wasn't shown what the color scheme was going to be so you don't really have any options to choose, it seemed it was either you buy it or someone else will. The home buying experience was tainted by the Lennar company, Eagle Home Mortgage, which made the entire process so stressful and they ignored entirely the impact every delay, and there were numerous delays by Eagle Mortgage. They did not care a little finger that every week they delayed, cost us, the customer, more in lodging, loan points, and utility charges from scheduling service starts, then having to reschedule them, appliance deliveries has to be delayed, orders changed or canceled. It was the worst experience we have ever had in home buying and this was our 6th home. Aside from that, our home was built fairly well, and during our acceptance only a few smallish repairs needed, and the construction manager handled those well. Eagle Home Mortgage, for us, was unprofessional to the point of amateurish and bumbling. Never once were we apologized to for their ineptitude and wholly unsatisfactory customer service. In fact, after all the delays, due to their incompetence, they had the gall to charge us more points because of those delays. I recommend never using Eagle Home Mortgage, if you can avoid them. ... The overall design and architecture of the home is great. However, the workmanship and installation of materials in almost every area is substandard. Especially for a price point nearing $800,000.

Do your homework. Really critique the model homes. Be vigilant during the building process. Submit tickets after you purchase.

Poor quality control during the build. House next door has been half built for 6 months and I have a constant flow of trash in my yard. Lennar mortgage company was a nightmare to work with.

I love my house, the workmanship is great but I am very disappointed that the swimming pool will not be installed until the summer or 2021 when I was told it would be built by 2020. Management has not reached out to make accommodations for us to perhaps utilize nearby facilities until the pool is place. I have emailed 5 or 6 times about our garage door. It makes alot of noises(snapping,groaning,clunking) plus if the button isn't held down it stops sometimes

Really wish they would've taken there time more. You can really tell the house was rushed with quality of workmanship. I would've liked to move into a new house and not a 90% complete house. The first month was nothing but people coming fixing holes, texturing walls, painting, stucco repair, washing machine flooding, two windows not opening, damaged cabinets, missing/damaged molding, etc. It was quite irritating having tradesman in our house fixing things on a house that wasn't finished. Unfortunately with my kids starting their new school 3 days after the scheduled closing we had no choice but to move in. Take a few extra weeks and give people a quality house. Take your time and if the person working at the office cannot Focus ask for someone else. I could have included more things I wanted after I spoke with neighbors. Also when I signed I would call and ask questions and never a response. Also contact Lennar Higher Level and Basically they protected the employee and only excuses. Only issue was I was sold a house that was supposed to have a pretty big backyard but when it was said and done the driveway was really long and the backyard was tiny.
