I went with Lennar thought I had few other options, based on my first home experience which was positive. This time the house got into series of repairs in first month. Now, I’m following up for reimbursement but the response is very slow

Warranty subs don’t finish on the same day and don’t clean up. I have missed a lot of work due to this. I am also waiting on fix to my carpet padding that has a lot of hard plastic chunks in it?

We worked with a realtor and our own outside mortgage broker so buying was not an issue and everything went very well. I would love to give Lennar a great rating, however we are 6 months into our new home and still have not had work completed from our 45 day review. We had to have windows replaced because they were broken during building process. The workers came to replace the windows and installed new ones but left smudge fingerprints and palm prints on them that require a 20 ft ladder to reach for cleanup. We have green tape stick on high ceilings that was left during the building process. When the gutters were installed, the installer broke another window and that has not been replaced yet either 6 months later. The grout in the kitchen on the backsplash is crumbling and disappearing and that began on day 5 after moving into our new home. 2 weeks in, the caulking around the bathrooms in the home is splitting and pulling the base away from the wall—I am aware that this will eventually do this after living in a home after a while, but not 2 weeks of living in NEW home . There is tile floor in the kitchen that is cut off too short leaving a gap between it and the cabinet in a very noticeable location and our friends and family have all pointed it out to us at different times during their visits. Last, our backyard is flooding every time it rains and we have a 3-5in pond that takes weeks to dry up before we can walk back there without sinking into the dirt deeply. We have been waiting on the fix for this for 5months and we have been told the yard is graded properly but that the drain needs to be set lower so that water drains properly. In the meantime, we can’t finish and enjoy our backyard. Response time for service and questions is extremely poor. ... More

Lennar doesn’t seem to care that my repairs were not to my satisfaction. Also, was promised a new furnace filter and never received it.

lots of electrical issues and when you call call center(customer service) they are rude and keep telling you that they are trying to reach out the contractor but since they are out in the field, its tough to get in touch with them. we have been in house for almost 5 months and still have issues pending since we moved in. ... The house was sloppily put together and there were a lot of issues that took months to fix after I moved in. I had to take too many days off work to address all the issues. This is my third new home built. This is by far the worst one. The walls are very uneven the painters are of poor quality. Several things need to be fixed. Not sure if I would recommend lennar

I was promised warranty work on my house and they even dropped off the materials. While the house next to me was getting constructed they got stucco on my house and they didn’t fix it. Greg the Knowologest was amazing. He got everything fixed for me and called me the next day. The new knowologest took over and is horrible. Before Greg let he said the GC would fix the paint and the GC never did. No the new knowologest said he not going to fix it. While buying the house the waiting until the last day to say they needed documents to close. They have 3 weeks and waited until the last day. The loan officer was very nice through the process. ... The communication is horrible. After I bought my home Nate never responded to a question I had I guess all he cared about was his initial review. Paint is chipping left and right, paint all over our deck, our island is not straight, the granite is not sealed so stains have already happened, things weren’t painted trim wise on the outside of the home. Blue tape left in spots that were supposed to be fixed. Garage remotes stolen at close, everything was very cheaply done and terrible workmanship. There is an excuse for everything and am immediate defense when you ask/question things. Not happy and would never use Lennar again or recommend. Quality control is poor. Workmanship is not good. Needs a lot of repairs and very sloppy work. Warranty specialist not doing great at following up.

Patrick is an excellent and pleasant sales person; always helpful and ready to answer all your question. Overall the house will look good. If I need to critic something, I really don’t like the lack of choices when building your house...my kids are allergic and I cannot have carpet; they cannot help me. My kitchen sink will be very uncomfortable to use; but I cannot change it neither. After waiting for my house several months; I will need to spend extra several thousands $$ and time before moving to my new house which makes the process a bit more uncomfortable. Overall a solid 3 stars and a happy customer; and to be fair with Lennar...I’m sure they have other more expensive neighborhoods where I can custom made the whole house! ... More

We decide to buy at this location after looking in several other places, including Lennar locations, Danielle F. was a great motivation for our decision, she was extremely attentive and patient. going inside to constructions sites with us, wearing beautiful high-heels and not afraid of getting them dirty, she is amazing. the whole process was very self-explanatory, and easy, and if any question arises, Danielle was there for us. When was time for to us starting visiting the house for the final walks we only met great people JP and Keene, they explain everything we need to know about the house and give us great advice. Our house is beautiful, we are making all we can to make the most of that. The downside exists, maybe is not the same for everyone, for us was the fact in the kitchen there is no extractor, the one from the microwave is not enough if you cook every day. The kitchen cabinets need to be more functional, to upgrade after it is almost impossible unless you are in the conditional to pay a reasonable of money to do so. It took us meeting with 6 Lennar people to come up with a resolution. Not the easiest to work with except one person (Patrick) stood up and put the problem in their court, where it was to begin with, and we finally agreed.

My experience so far has been pretty OK, until I move into my home and see how they respond with taking care of items that are still outstanding as far as the punchlist goes and then I can give you my honest opinion but right now so far so good.
