Great first time home buyer experience with a great builder!

My wife and I were looking for a new home for a few months and weren't having any luck, until we saw that K. Hovnanian had opened up new lots in the area that we desired. The home building process was new to us, but K. Hov walked us through what to expect and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. Our sales representative and construction manager did a great job addressing our concerns and keeping us in the loop during the entire building process and afterwards. Any issues we had after the home was built and closed upon were addressed quickly and left us feeling satisfied. If we had to do this process all over again, we definitely would. I am so pleased with the purchase I made with KHOV. They definitely want to do the right thing for the home buyer. Art was excellent with keeping up with the quality of the job performed. There were some minor things that were overlooked, but they were taken care of quickly and swiftly. I brought my realtor during my inspection visits to ensure I wasn't overlooking any details. Good product, meets all my needs at this point in my life

The process was made seamless with the help of the sales staff working in conjunction with the builder and the mortgage company. The continuous follow up, along with educating us on every step of the process was excellent.

We have a "villa" home with master on main in a multifamily triplex. We worked with the designer for interior and selected floor, counter, lighting, and kitchen options. Most of the issues that popped up were minor and various teams came in and resolved them. There was one design issue in that once our new front-loading HE washer and dryer were installed, we cannot close the door, the laundry room is just not large enough. We appreciate that K. Hovnanian involved us in every step of the construction and responded to most all the questions we had. ... More

Beautiful new home...but then they do a SLOPPY job on the garage..particularly the steps leading into the house. It looks like they just slapped something together. So too with the guys laying the sod --not very prideful of their work. We had issues with he MBR shower and the wall in our bedroom, part of which needs to be ripped out because of buckled seams. But all in all, we are very satisfied, The construction supervisor has been particularly helpful and very responsive. Excellent customer relations skills! So is the KHov customer service rep who is helping us address the two major issues mentioned above. There are sure to be problems with any new build. Tricia, Art and Kristen have been excellent! We have found some of the workmanship to be a bit shoddy. We feel certain that the issues will be corrected.

So far I am enjoying my new home and any issues are being addressed.

Good buying experience with KHOV.

The builder met each milestones in the construction process. Builder informed us of any delays and was able to make the lost time to complete the house on time. On few occasions, we had to follow-up with the builder.
